To obtain an accurate price for your own unique pool project in Green Bay, De Pere or Howard, WI it is best to have a site consultation at your home where the unique variables that may affect the cost of installing a fiberglass pool on your property can be accounted for.

Small Fiberglass Pool $60,000.00- $80,000.00

Medium Fiberglass Pool $75,000.00- $95,000.00

Large Fiberglass Pool $90,000.00 - $110,000.00

6 FACTORS THAT AFFECT FIBERGLASS POOL PRICES IN THE GREEN BAY AREA

Location: The further away from a builders home location typically the higher the cost for the installation due to travel, mileage, per diems, hotels, and freight costs to deliver the fiberglass pool shell.

Soil Type: In the Greater Green Bay area there are 3 different types of soil conditions that pool installers may run into. The first is clay and clay is good as long as it is virgin clay. Clay soils are found through the majority of the Greater Green Bay area in Bellevue, Allouez, De Pere, etc. The second type of soil is bedrock. As you get into the Ledgeview, De Pere and the Town of Scott areas bedrock can sometime pop up and can lead to additional costs to remove the bedrock. Lastly is sand. Sandy areas pop up in Ashwaubenon north through Howard, Hobart and the Suamico area. Being able to know where these types of soils are located and how to work in each soil type is the key to a successful pool build and providing an accurate upfront cost to build a pool.

Pool Size: Generally speaking the larger the pool the larger the cost. The bigger the pool the more the shell costs, more material needs to be excavated and hauled out, tc. This all adds up to extra cost.

Pool Decking: The more square footage of pool deck you have the more that you will spend. Broom finished concrete is the most economical patio option and natural stone patios are the most expensive. So material selection can affect the cost of the pool decking as well.

Site Access: If a pool builder is not able to drive a full size quad axle dump truck up to the pool hole to haul out excavated material and to deliver clean stone to the site. It will affect the efficiency at which the pool can be dug, material hauled out and supplies brought into the pool site. If site access is a problem it will affect the cost to complete the installation

Site Slope: If you have an aggressive slope throughout the area where the pool is to be installed there may be a need for a retaining wall and at the minimum additional clean stone brought in and used to build up the grade for the pool deck in engineered lifts. This will add time and cost to the project. It is best to have this addressed with your pool builder prior to starting your project.

Pool Accessories: Pool Accessories can have a good affect on the cost of a project. For example an automatic pool cover will cost around $22,000.00 or more for your pool. The average pool slide will cost $5,500.00 or more assembled, installed and plumbed. Waterline tile starts out at around $4,900.00 and up based on the type of tile and size of your pool.

MORAL OF THE STORY

A modern fiberglass pool built by a quality pool contractor will cost anywhere from $90,000.00 to $150,000.00 on average but can be north of that based on the scale of the project. At the end of the day your imagination and project budget are the 2 limiting factors to the cost of any fiberglass pool project.
